We are finally starting to come back down to earth after the fabulous day we had yesterday.  You and Bev played a huge part in making everything wonderful and I am very grateful to you.

When you start out planning something like this it is always with much anticipation and a little trepidation at how the grand design in your head will turn out in reality.  However, I needn’t have worried, we were definitely in the hands of professionals and, as I said yesterday, the afternoon far surpassed my expectations.  Everyone who attended LOVED the ceremony of high tea.  From the beautiful tea sets and cutlery, the gorgeous serving plates and tiered cake stands, to the lovely high tea treats.  The flowers were exquisite and the games were lots of fun.  We will be talking about it for years to come and I know that we have given my mother one of the most precious gifts possible:  the most wonderful memory of happy hours spent with her nearest and dearest.

A lot goes into getting an event like this right and you were a big part of that.  I had lots of ideas of what I wanted to occur on the day and you were so kind in guiding me through the essential elements of a high tea.  I was pleasantly surprised each time I asked you if something would be possible and your response was always ‘Of course we can do that’.  You gave me so much confidence in what I was trying to achieve and it was such a refreshing change to deal with someone who is so completely committed to the satisfaction of their customer.  I loved it and thank you for it.

You know, I was a little nervous when I first decided to have a high tea.  I knew it was what I wanted to have, but I was concerned that some of the male attendees would not enjoy the experience.  I have to say, I shouldn’t have worried, because every single person in that room thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  I have a picture which I think is rather cute of two ‘macho men’ enjoying their tea.  It’s great!

So what else can I say but thank you, thank you, thank you, for helping to make my mother’s 80th birthday a wonderful day that will always be remembered by all who were there.

Well, I still can’t wipe the smile off my face!  I had the best birthday ever!!  (Gee I sound like a 10 year old, not a 50 year old!)

There is nothing like sipping tea from pretty china cups, surrounded by your best girlfriends all wearing beautiful dresses, the fresh sweet perfume of flowers, sounds of fun and laughter in the background and, of course, gorgeous dainty delectable food.  Just perfect!

From the moment I saw your website, I knew you were a kindred spirit and a lady who loves to be surrounded by beautiful things and making people feel special. I knew I wanted to share this experience with the different groups of people in my life – I didn’t want anyone to miss out.  So I arranged a morning tea at work and hired all the beautiful china to share with my friends at work.

Then I arranged a celebration at home and invited about 24 friends and family.  I must say, you exceeded all of my expectations – your attention to detail is fantastic.

My 50th Birthday celebration with Antiquitea was the best birthday party that I have ever been to!  I really, really enjoyed the afternoon tea.  Sitting with a roomful of friends at beautifully set tables, with exquisite china and amazing food from Chica Catering and being served the best teas was an event I will never forget and neither will my friends.

Since that day, I have had so many comments from everyone who attended – they absolutely loved the event and thanked me for inviting them.  Some friends said that is was an incredible way to celebrate a birthday.  One special lady was so excited by the (50′s themed) invitation, she bought a new dress and made herself a beautiful 50′s style hat for the occasion!  Another girlfriend said that she she had been showing all her friends the photos we had taken on the day, as everything was so beautiful.

When planning the event, I looked around to see which hotels and cafes offered high tea.  There were not many to choose from and most of them had a 2 hour time limit.  My main reasons for choosing Antiquitea were firstly, no-one else offered china that was so beautiful and, secondly, I did not want to ruin the event by being restricted to a time limit.  When I saw the beautiful table settings, I wanted the event to go on forever!

I have been recommending Antiquitea to everyone and am already planning a 3rd Antiquitea High Tea for my relations.
